The Scotto is proud to support SAMH!

This year, The Scotto is proud to announce that it has raised over £200,000 for charity! Recently, a significant portion of this, £50,000, went to our valued partner, SAMH, Scotland's national mental health charity.
SAMH
Founded in 1923, SAMH has a long history of supporting mental wellbeing. They provide essential services across Scotland, including social care, addiction recovery, and employment assistance, for over 70 communities.
We at The Scotto recognise the critical importance of mental health. By supporting charities like SAMH, our players directly contribute to positive change in our communities. As SAMH themselves say, "People should ask once and get help fast." This is precisely how The Scotto, through its players, empowers individuals to seek help.
SAMH
Currently, SAMH supports over 28,000 people in Scotland annually. The demand for mental health services is at an all-time high, and SAMH remains dedicated to expanding their reach.
"We've been admiring what's been going on at the Scotto... lots of your supporters are new and were trying to reach out to those types of audiences so...we hope that if they ever got a need around mental health with us being in partnership it just makes that easier, getting the message out there that there is someone, a partner, who can help."

Billy Watson. CEO, SAMH

Our partnership with SAMH goes beyond fundraising. We aim to raise awareness and show our players that help is readily available. Remember, you are not alone. In Scotland, one in four people will experience a mental health issue in their lifetime.
SAMH
If you or someone you know needs support, SAMH offers a wealth of resources. Visit their website here.
